The Ashtanga Yoga method is characterised by a dynamic execution of postures (asana) synchronised with the breathing (ujjayi) while keeping specific points of gaze (drishti) and internal body locks (bandha).
The Ashtanga yoga method can help us to develop our strength and focus needed for our daily activities. Apart from the immediate effects in our bodies and mood, in the long term the practice can help us to develop a strong and flexible body, deeper mindfulness and peace of mind.
